Fourth and last project from the Cabin series.

It was almost certain that the client would not want to build this. Hence, the formal radicality and absurdity.

Inspired by mid-explosive spherical massing; where a pure geometry is cut and displaced at certain moments to create a partially exploded form. There is a directionality set by the rising external staircase and as it punctures through, the opposite end of the sphere is cut and displaced outwards to create a small transparent balcony.

When seen from outside it is as though the staircase is going through the sphere entirely, but the trick was to terminate it immediately, and to let it continue only from the second floor slab.
