An unusual brief of desining three different bathhouse units on a single site with a boundary wall.
The challenge was to create three different units that shared a common formal language, but different spatial experience. They needed to come together naturally, while considering how they might be contained within a boundary wall that wraps around the site.
Main entry to the site was from the West end, where parking lots would be placed. The wall grew thickness to become a space that can house the main entrance lobby with service desk and a small tea house.
The three bathhouse did not need a direct connection, but it was wise to design a common path that wraps around the whole site, meandering between units.
